On our inputs, Seedance 2.5 followed a detailed prompt more closely and kept a designed car's shape, the two were level on a backflip, and Kling 3.0 is the one for a real 4K file. Kling 3.0 is listed as Kling v3 in the catalog.
Our own test, run on September 30, 2026. Every clip below is a real output from it. Model pages: Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0.
The results at a glance
One to three runs per model per test, on each model's standard tiers.
Test
Same input
Seedance 2.5
Kling 3.0
A street scene with nine checkable details, two runs each
One text prompt
18 of 18 checks
15 of 18: a person in the empty shop in both runs, and the layout reversed in one
A car drive-by
One start frame, one prompt
Kept the design; turned out of frame instead of crossing it
A badge-like mark on the nose and a figure in the cabin
A standing backflip
One start frame, one prompt
A real flip, feet first, on every roll
A real flip on every roll, once the prompt said where the feet land
A filmed look: named light, a walk with weight, a handheld camera
One whole prompt
The lamp, the wall light and the collar move arrived; framed full length, not chest-up
The same: the light and the move arrived, framed full length
Side by side, on the same inputs
A scored street scene
Same input: One bakery storefront prompt with nine checkable details: a sign spelled BAKERY, a red bicycle left of the door, three pots right of it, a yellow umbrella, a ginger cat walking left to right, a slow push in, and no people. 720p, 6 seconds, two runs each.
Seedance 2.5.Run 1: 9 of 9. It also painted window lettering nobody asked for.
Kling 3.0.Run 1: 8 of 9. A person stands inside the shop, behind the door glass.
Seedance 2.5 scored 18 of 18 across two runs; Kling 3.0 scored 15. Both spelled the sign and walked the cat the right way; the misses were a person nobody asked for and a layout the wrong way round.
Same input: The same design still of a fictional coupe as the start frame and the same drive-by prompt: no badges, no lettering, nobody in the car. Seedance 2.5 at 480p, Kling 3.0 at 720p, 5 seconds, one run each.
Seedance 2.5.The silhouette, the wheels and the light bar held, with no badge and nobody inside.
Kling 3.0.A badge-like mark appeared on the nose, and a figure sat in the cabin from about 2.8 to 4 seconds.
Seedance 2.5 kept the design; Kling 3.0 added a mark and a passenger. If your shot has a product or a vehicle that must stay itself, test it on your own design first.
Same input: One standing frame of a dancer on a wet rooftop and a prompt written as physics: a crouch, a drive off both feet, one rotation, both feet down together. 720p.
Seedance 2.5.A slow load, a high tucked flip, both feet down at 2.8 seconds.
Kling 3.0.A fast drive, a tight tuck, both feet down together into a deep squat.
Both rotated a real flip on every roll. Kling 3.0's first roll landed on its hands until the prompt said where the feet land.
Same input: One whole prompt naming a lamp behind a man in a wet alley, a walk with weight, and a handheld camera walking backward. Seedance 2.5 at 480p, Kling 3.0 at 720p.
Seedance 2.5.The lamp high behind him, a cyan fixture on the right wall, the right hand on the collar as written.
Kling 3.0.The lamp behind him, the cyan tube, heel-first steps and the collar turned up.
Both followed the light and the movement, and both framed him full length where the prompt asked for chest-up. They ran at different tiers, so compare what arrived, not the sharpness.
One prompt, six video models, nine measured checksSeptember 23, 2026One prompt with nine details a tool can check, sent unchanged to six models on the same morning, two runs each at 720p and 6 seconds, scored with an object detector, text recognition and feature tracking.
On our tests it followed a detailed prompt more closely and kept a car's design where Kling 3.0 did not. On a backflip the two were level, and Kling 3.0 is the one for a 4K file. Pick by the shot.
